I saw this post that said “One day, you’ll look back and see God walked with you every step of the way” 

Listennnn …. Lol. It’s always funny to look back on past moments and find yourself saying “baaaby, that wasn’t nobody but God!”

And it’s true. Even in our darkest moments, in our horrific decisions, and down in the pit where we think no one sees us, God remains there. Because let’s be real — He never leaves us. 

Deuteronomy 31:8 says “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged” (NIV)

and

Psalm 23:4 says “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me” (NIV)

When you’re going through the thick of it, you don’t always see the light. You lose hope. You get discouraged. But somehow — somehow — you make it to the other side. And you look back like “how?” 

I’ll tell you how — you held on to that mustard seed of faith. You just didn’t realize it. 

Matthew 17:20 says He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (NIV)

But congratulations, you made it!! It didn’t break you. You overcame it! You conquered! You are STILL here! 

Now imagine the mountains God could move with 10x the mustard seeds. 

Keep your head up, Faithful Worrier! If God got you through before, He could get you through now … and again … and again … and again.
